I'm Back. And You Don't Have to Start Over.

Hi. I'm still here.

The last few months were a head-down season. I was navigating a rupture in my family, a new full-time role at Snap, two kids in transition, and a body that's been making its own opinions known. I didn't disappear. I just got quiet while I sorted some things out.

I'm coming back now. And I want to bring you something useful out of the gate.

But first, one thing, because it's the whole philosophy behind this brand:

You don't have to start over.

If you've been “off track” for weeks, months, or longer, I need you to hear this clearly: the worst thing you could do right now is restart from scratch.

That's the trap. The 30-day reset. The clean slate. The “I'll start Monday.” All of it is built on the idea that consistency only counts if it's perfect, and once you break the streak, you have to demolish everything and rebuild from rubble.

That's not how bodies work. That's not how nervous systems work. And it's definitely not how a woman in her 40s with a real life and a real hormonal environment makes lasting change.

You don't restart. You pick up where you are.

What “picking up where you are” actually looks like

In perimenopause especially, this matters. Because if you've been “off” for a stretch, here's what's actually true:

  • Your muscle is more resilient than you've been told. A few weeks of inconsistency does not erase years of training.
  • Your strength returns faster than you build it from zero. The neurological wiring is still there.
  • Your nervous system is the variable you actually need to manage. Not your calorie deficit. Not your step count.
  • The body you have right now, in this stress state, at this sleep level, at this point in your cycle, is the body we work with. Not the imaginary one.

Pick up where you are. Lift something today. Eat enough protein at your next meal. Get to bed thirty minutes earlier. That's it. That's how you “get back on track” without falling for the reset trap.

What's coming

I'm back to writing here, back to coaching, back to building. Over the next few weeks you'll see:

  • More posts on perimenopause, training, and nervous system care
  • Coaching openings. Single sessions at $197 and the 3-month container at $1,200.
  • New tools and resources rolling out

One thing right now: the free guide

If you've been wondering whether what you're experiencing is perimenopause or just stress, I made you a guide.

“5 Signs It's Perimenopause (Not Just Stress).” It's free, it's a one-pager, and it's a quick gut-check before you go further down the rabbit hole.

Drop your email on the homepage and I'll send it to your inbox.

We're picking this back up.

Catalina
