Softcore Season: Rebuilding, Rebranding, and Settling Into the Chaos (and Making It Cute)

Softcore Season: Rebuilding, Rebranding, and Settling Into the Chaos (and Making It Cute)

It’s been a minute.

Okay… maybe more than a minute. The last few months have been a full-blown season of change — equal parts exciting, terrifying, and deeply overdue.
Softcore Detachment has always been about transformation, but this time, it’s not just a slogan. It’s personal.

Since August, life has been a blur of transitions: refining routines, building new systems, and figuring out how to keep growing while staying grounded. Somewhere between late-night editing sessions, the gym floor, and calm-drink rituals, I realized — this isn’t a “comeback.” It’s a recalibration.

The Big Shift

This season has been all about creating structure that fits.
After years of working within larger coaching frameworks, I’ve been quietly building something of my own — a more flexible, more personalized system that lets clients grow at their own pace.

It’s called Softcore Coaching, and it’s built around the same core ideas that shape everything I do: slow and steady progress, habit stacking, self-compassion, and long-term sustainability.
It’s not about starting over — it’s about finally doing it your way.

This evolution has reminded me that building something new doesn’t mean burning everything down. It’s about honoring what worked, and gently letting go of what doesn’t.

The Creative Side

Softcore Detachment has expanded — again.
The podcast is still my heart: unfiltered conversations about growth, boundaries, and the weird in-between stages of becoming who you’re meant to be. The community response lately has been wild, and I’m endlessly grateful.

And then came the YouTube channel.

I spent 7 hours editing and uploading all of our videos onto the YouTube channel and absolutely fell in love with the raw, unfiltered version of us. I loved seeing it and putting it out there for everyone. Complete with the dogs in the background licking their junk.

I launched Coach’s Corner, a new series where I talk directly to camera — snarky, real, educational, no filter. Starting with under-eating myths , these episodes are for anyone who wants the science and the sass.

The truth is, creating content like this feels different now. Less like “posting for reach” and more like documenting a life that’s actually worth living.

Building a Business That Feels Like Me

Running Softcore Detachment full-time has been a mix of spreadsheets, late-night Canva binges, and learning to let systems carry some of the load. I’m experimenting with new coaching packages, new merch, and new boundaries.
The raccoon merch line (yes, still thriving) is a love letter to everyone who’s ever rebuilt from chaos — floral and feral, just like the rest of us.

Every part of this season has been a reminder that growth isn’t glamorous. It’s emails and overthinking and trying to get your website pop-up to actually connect to your coaching page. It’s showing up messy but still showing up.

What’s Next

The rest of this year is about refining, not rushing.
I want to pour into my clients, my content, and the community that’s been here since the beginning.
I want to keep building systems that support my sanity and creativity in equal measure.
